United Mines landfill open day

On Friday 7th August 2009 we held an open day at United Mines landfill. Tours of the landfill site and an exhibition were on offer to visitors at the open day and representatives from the Environment Agency, SITA Cornwall Trust and Recycle for Cornwall were also present.

Bodmin MRF open day

On Friday 30th October 2009 we held an open day at Bodmin materials recycling facility (MRF). Those who attended learnt more about what happens to the bottles, newspaper, clothes and cans they put out for kerbside recycling, had a tour of the recycling facility and participated in compost safari and paper making workshops.
