Directions

From Bodmin clock tower take the A390 to St Austell. Just before you enter Lanivet ,turn right onto Old Coach road signposted Lamorick. Continue through Lamorick. The HWRC is at the top of the hill on your right.

Opening times

Summer opening: 1st April – 30th September 9.00am – 6.00pm
Winter opening: 1st October – 31st March 9.00am – 4.00pm

Avoid queueing: This site is usually quieter between 10am and 12pm.

This HWRC is open seven days a week. Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Recycling rate

In November 2011, this site achieved a recycling rate of 60%.

 

Tips on recycling at HWRCs

  • Separate your waste before you visit the HWRC
  • If possible visit the HWRC during weekdays when it is less busy
  • Please be patient while the HWRC is closed for exchanging skips- it's for your own safety
  • Only bring household waste to the HWRC, trade waste is not accepted
