New postal address for SITA Cornwall helpdesk

The SITA Cornwall Helpdesk has relocated to new headquarters at United Mines site near Redruth.

The postal address is the only change in the contact details for the helpdesk, the new address to send enquiries by post is: SITA Cornwall Helpdesk, United Mines Landfill Site, United Downs, St Day, Redruth, Cornwall TR16 5HU.

Cornish residents can still call the SITA Cornwall helpdesk on the existing number, 08456 300 300, at any time, but it is staffed locally Monday to Friday between 9am–5pm. The email address also remains the same at: cornwallhelpdesk@sita.co.uk

The helpdesk is available to answer all enquiries on:

• Recycling centres in Cornwall and the materials accepted at each centre
• Contact details of local organisations who collect and accept items for reuse
• General advice on how to reduce, reuse and recycle waste.
• Kerbside collections in the North Cornwall and Caradon areas
• Ordering recycling sacks and collection calendars in the North Cornwall area.

Louise Dolby, Customer Helpdesk Adviser said: “We take on average 1500 enquiries per month so we know this is a valuable service for Cornish residents. We will continue to provide an excellent service in our new offices by answering enquiries quickly and efficiently.”
